My work references memorial, dream and mythological landscape. I work across disciplines—painting, sculpture and photography—expressing my ideas using whatever media or materials work best. Each speaks with a different voice.
I think of my works as visual poems. In a poem, each word is chosen for its meaning and sound and placed in relationship with other words. Likewise, each element in my work is chosen for its inherent attributes and meanings, and placed in relationship to other elements, as words in a poem.
