Security and performance repairs
Security
The site had recently been hacked. Comprehensive WordPress security measures were implemented. The site was migrated to a hosting provider with security features included.
Performance.
The site was an enormous 30 GB (average WordPress site is 1 GB). Size was reduced to under 1 GB (712 MB) by cleaning out the database and items dating back to 2004. Load time was faster and performance improved.

Extensive site redesign
Emphasizing functionality, style, new features and an improved admin process.
Functionality. Organized posts and pages, better user experience, installing a new, dependable theme.
Style and design. Energizing the drab, minimal home page with a new color scheme, updated typography and user friendly layout.
New features. Adding dynamic and interactive elements to encourage community involvement.
Improved admin process. An efficient dashboard and WordPress admin training.
