Early Photography
Lucy Lamp started taking pictures when she got her first Polaroid at age 12. She graduated from experimental family portraits to weddings, high school senior pictures and all night prom gigs.
Lucy earned a BFA with an emphasis in Photography and Painting and an MFA with an emphasis in Sculpture from the University of Minnesota, where she incorporated photography and video into her sculptural installations. She also has a degree in Web and Interactive Media from Minneapolis Technical and Community College.
Lucy’s photography series include 12 Places of Unexpected Beauty in New York City, Postcards From the End of the World, 1000 Sunsets and The Superheroine’s Journey. Her work has been exhibited nationally.
